We all know that upcoming holiday brings gaining weight in most people. So why not try something else this year.
The holidays are a time when family and friends gather to enjoy each other's company- and eat! Indulgent meals, bountiful buffets, cookie swaps, holiday parties...it's no surprise that maintaining a healthy weight can present even more challenges during the holidays than throughout the rest of the year.
To loose or maintaining weight is simple maths. You have to burn more calories than you take in.
Most of the people don't like to count calories during any time especially holidays when everything is relaxed, full of beautiful moments with your family and friends. Of course, I wouldn't do that either.
Probably you're wondering how I will avoid gaining weight during Holidays. Well, there is several ways to do it. First, you can bake smaller amount of everything as most of it is either not eaten or ends up in the trash or you overeat. Our measurement is always dessert plate, not more than that. We eat everything and always go for a walk with our children.
Or, this year you can try and explore Plant Based diet and still enjoy Holidays as much you would do with the food you get used to. There are so many varieties in Plant Based Diet you can't possibly imagine, and still very tastfull, and you'll save your money and buy something in January when everybody are thin in wallet.
